Saint John Sea Dogs defenseman Ian Saab's time in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League is over.

The 20 year-old native of Halifax, NS, will head to Austria next season to play for the EC Red Bull Salzburg of the Austrian Hockey League.

In 52 games last season for the Sea Dogs, Saab recorded nine points including two goals and seven assists along with a +10 rating and 164 penalty minutes.

The 6-2, 192 pounder played three seasons in the QMJHL between the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles, Lewiston MAINEiacs and the Sea Dogs.
