Screaming Eagles Name David New Assistant Coach

Cape Breton Screaming Eagles general manager Pierre Roux announced on Monday that the club has hired Jean-Francois David as the teams new assistant coach.

David replaces assistant coach Kevin Higo who has held the position for the past two seasons before his contract ended last month. 

The 30-year-old native of Blainville, Quebec played five seasons in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League between the Shawinigan Cataractes and the Baie-Comeau Drakkar. Following his major junior career, the defenseman played nine seasons of professional hockey which included stops in the AHL, ECHL, CHL, UHL and Europe.

David's main focus with the Screaming Eagles will be to work with the defensemen.
