Screaming Eagles Sign New Radio Deal With 103.5 The Eagle
The Cape Breton Screaming Eagles announced on Friday that they have come to terms with 103.5 The Eagle on a new three-year broadcast agreement. The New deal will begin on June 1, 2012 and end on May 31, 2015.
The terms of the agreement will see all 68 regular season games and all the playoffs being aired on The Eagle at 103.5 FM.
Screaming Eagles Marketing Director Mr. Peter MacDonald says he is pleased to see both sides being able to come to an agreement.
“We receive tremendous support from The Eagle and it’s affiliate station The Giant and it’s important knowing that this will allow our fans to stay in touch with our team over the next three seasons. "
103.5 The Eagle general manager Mr. Dave Newbury says he understands the important role the Screaming Eagles play in the community.
“From the first day we went on the air we realized it is important that we support local intiatives and the partnership we have with the Screaming Eagles has been very positive and this agreement means that this relationship with grow stronger.”
The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League schedule is expected to start on Thursday, September 20.
