The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League Disciplinary Prefec, Mr. Raymond Bolduc announced on Tuesday that the league has suspended Blainville-Boisbriand Armada defenseman Nikita Kolesnikovs for two games following a hit from behind which took place during Friday Night's game against the Rimouski Oceanic.

The decision was made after the league reviewed the videotape of the incident as well as gathering the testimonies from the players and the organizations involved and reading the on-ice officials’ report.

Kolesnikovs can return to the Blainville-Boisbriand lineup on Sunday as they host the Baie-Comeau Drakkar.
