QMJHL Alumni Win Awards At 2011 NHL Awards Night
The National Hockey League on Wednesday night held it's annual awards night in Las Vegas with two former Quebec Major Junior Hockey League players picking up awards.
Former Val-D'or Foreur & Bathurst Titan goaltender Roberto Luongo along with his backup goaltender in Vancouver Cory Schneider were awarded the William Jennings trophy as the goaltenders on the team allowing the fewest goals this season.
Luongo played four seasons in the 'Q' with three of them being with Val-D'or.
